Title: Staff Accountant


Salary: $58,000-$65,000

Must Haves for the Staff Accountant:

• 1-2 years of accounting experience or strong internship experience involving full-cycle accounting or audit
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting priorities
• The Staff Accountant should be comfortable supporting payroll; Sage or Paylocity experience is helpful but not required

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• The Staff Accountant will support biweekly payroll processing and prepare related journal entries
• Assist with month-end close, including bank, revenue, and general ledger reconciliations
• Prepare recurring journal entries, contract invoices, and supporting accounting schedules
• Record contributions, grants, cash receipts, and other financial activity accurately and timely
• Support audit preparation, financial reporting, and additional accounting projects across the Finance team
